Adopt-a-Dog: Lola

February 23, 2012

This week’s featured dog is Lola, a 3-5 year old Pit Bull mix who found her way to the shelter after her family surrendered her. She has been through a lot at the shelter… She was very sick for a little while, but she feels much better now, thanks to all of her shelter friends who took good care of her while she wasn’t feeling her best.

Lola is back in the game now and is ready to find her forever home. If you have other dogs, please bring them down to the shelter to meet her – she likes to be the center of attention, and because of that, she likes her doggie friends to let her have the spotlight. Lola will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on all of her shots when you take her home with you.

Lola is located at ACCT Philadelphia, 111 W. Hunting Park Avenue. Adoption hours are 1-8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on weekends. If you are interested in fostering, please contact nsmith [at] pspca.org or jsweeney [at] pspca.org.
