A Mennonite choir performed in Clark Park this morning under the watchful eye of Charles Dickens and Nell. Luckily they left before the sword-fighting kids showed up.
If this is the same group as this past spring, they’re from Churchtown Mennonite Church, Carlisle, PA, and affiliated with the Christophel family who sell produce at market on Saturday.
A lovely sound salted with a brief message of faith and encouragement is always welcome in West Philly. I just hope those Upenn kids don’t mess it up. 😉
