Contact all your neighbors within 2 or 3 blocks of your home (posting mini flyers with photo on neighbors’ front doors is best); post bold flyers along streets and intersections,
Email ACCT shelter a ‘lost cat’ report (http://www.acctphilly.org/programs/ac/lostpet). Also check in with Morris Animal Refuge downtown.
**Post ads on craigslist (both Lost & Found and Pets lists).

Kitty is probably within a couple of blocks from home. Search as often as possible, and take food and carrier with you. Check yards, alleyways, under porches and shrubbery, under cars, up trees. Check for openings in buildings, especially basement doors and windows, sheds, garages. Sprinkle used kitty litter around your house to attract kitty. Also leave food, water, a warm shelter and kitty’s blanket/towel or a piece of unwashed clothing nearby. Call out her name and listening carefully while searching.

Also, consider setting up a humane trap on your property. I can loan you one.

These are all great suggestions. I’m so glad Emily was found, and recommend you get her a collar and tag with, at least, her name and your cell #. In addition I had engraved on my cats’ tags “INDOOR-OUTDOOR CAT” and the block I live on. That way if they wander farther than a block I usually get a call from someone, but I don’t get calls when they are just roaming on my block.
