Milk and Honey Market is celebrating its 6th anniversary this month with a “much needed spruce-up.” The popular corner store and cafe at 45th and Baltimore is currently closed for some “exciting improvements” and is expected to reopen with a “whole new look” on Thursday, Sept. 10.

“After 6 years (September 4th) we have learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t with our original line and want to help our staff be more efficient and our customers more comfortable,” Milk & Honey co-owner Annie Baum-Stein wrote us in an email. “Look forward to shorter lines and waiting and double the seating!”

Milk & Honey owners have been tweeting about the progress with remodeling the space, so check out their Twitter account for updates.

and hopefully sending their workers to etiquette school, they always have some sort of attitude going on.

M&H seriously needs to improve customer communications, random unannounced changes to opening and closing times kinda discourages patronizing this business!

I’ve always assumed the unhappy (and unhelpful) workers were a result of poor pay and treatment from the store’s owners. It’s just so consistently bad in there.

When the worker informed me that Milk & Honey no longer sold “retail” milk, it took some level of restraint to not point out that the store’s name is “Milk & Honey” which suggests that they sell these two commodities. Instead, I turned around and bought milk at the gas station.

    Milk is back!
We had a few midsummer weeks without Milk and we were all bumbed about it! But happy to say that we are now carrying milk from PA again!
