A male black and white kitten was found on Monday, Feb. 8 on the 5100 block of Hazel Avenue. The kitten was wearing a flea collar and looks like like he belongs to someone.

I do lost & found outreach in UC/WP and will circulate your post to neighborhood listservs. Check with neighbors around your block (both sides) to see if anyone knows this kitty? He is likely an indoor-outdoor cat, considering the flea collar. Also possible someone has ‘released’ him and is no longer caring for him. You can report him found on the ACCTPhilly website, found pet page, and also post on their FB page (look up LostAndFoundPhilly). Another local website is cedarparkneighbors (.org): Do not take him to a shelter. Is he fixed? Does he have a ‘tipped’ left ear? If you are unable to find his home and you’d like to temporarily care for him as a foster parent through Project MEOW, please get in touch with me. Thanks for taking him in! -linda
