Go West! Craft Fest returns this Saturday

The Woodlands historic grounds is hosting the Spring edition of Go West! Craft Fest this Saturday (April 28), 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The popular West Philly festival and craft market will feature handmade items from about 100 local makers, plus live music, food trucks, children’s activities, and acrobatic performances.

This is a great opportunity to spend a nice spring day outdoors and also shop for unique Mother’s Day gifts. There will be a lot to choose from, including artisan jewelry, ceramics, home wares, clothing, cards, candles, soaps, scents, sweets, toys, tinctures, treasures, and works of art! 11:00 a.m. – The Green Tambourine – music instruction and appreciation for the very young
12:00 p.m. – The Ludlow Five – soulful 60s jazz classics
1:30 p.m. – Philadelphia Women’s Slavic Ensemble – Balkan choral harmonies and melodic dissonance
2:00 p.m. – Vessna Scheff – originals and covers in sweet vocals and ukulele
3:00 p.m. – Tinycircus by Tangle Movement Arts
4:00 p.m. – Shakey Lyman – blues you can use

Food vendors include Kung Fu Hoagies, Weckerly’s Ice Cream, Pound Cake Heaven, Lil’ Pop Shop, and The Chai Bar.

The Woodlands is located at 40th and Woodland (Please note that there will be no vehicular traffic or parking allowed on the grounds for this event.)
