Friends of Clark Park presents Party in the Park on Saturday, May 18, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. This year’s party will feature food trucks, Dock Street beer, wine, Lil’ Pop Shop, live music, pop-up art from the University City Arts League, and family fun – at Clark Park (43rd and Baltimore).
Party in the Park is free to attend and open to all ages. Food and beverages will be pay-as-you-go with alcohol specials for Friends of Clark Park members. Event attendees may sign up for membership at the event to take advantage of the specials.
“Party in the Park is going to be bigger and better this year with live music from the Ballard Spahr Galactica and West Philly’s own Isy & the Mamas and Papas,” said party committee co-chair, Angela Curry. “We are thrilled to invite people from our community and beyond to share our love for our neighborhood commons by spending a beautiful spring afternoon in Clark Park with entertainment, food, and spirits,” said party committee co-chair, Anna Selfridge.
Party in the Park will also feature a spotlight dance from West Philly Ballroom and Latin Dance. Rain or shine, come hungry for savory to sweet food offerings and thirsty for Dock Street beer and wine. Bring a picnic blanket or chair for your comfort.
