Parking restrictions in place as crews film in Spruce Hill and near Baltimore Ave through next week

Film crews will be shooting in the Spruce Hill neighborhood for the next several days, prompting temporary “no parking” zones on several streets.

The crews are filming scenes for Dispatches From Elsewhere, a 10-episode anthology series that is set to be released on AMC in 2020. Jason Segel created and will star in the series. Other cast members include Sally Field, André Benjamin (André 3000 from Outkast) and the English actor Richard E. Grant.

Several actors were spotted filming the series in Rittenhouse Square late last month. 

Here are the “no parking” times:

Tuesday, August 27 through Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 5 p.m.

• South side of Spruce St. between S. 44th St. and S 45th St.

• South side of Spruce St. between S. 45th St. and S 46th St.

Wednesday, August 28 through Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 5 p.m.

• West side of S 45th St. between Spruce St and Locust St.

Thursday, August 29 through Saturday, August 31 at 5 p.m.

• South side of Spruce St. between S 45th St. and S 47th St.

• North side of Spruce St. between S 46th St. and S 45th St.

• West side of S 46th St. between Spruce St. and Pine St.

• Both sides of S 45th St. between Spruce St. and Pine St.

• South side of Pine St. between S 45th St. and S 46th St.

• East side of S 45th St. between Spruce St. and Locust St.

• East side of S 48th St. between Beaumont Ave. and Baltimore Ave.

    August 30th is not a Thursday. I know this because today is August 30th and while I did have a few drinks last night, I’m pretty sure it’s Friday.
