Mysterious “installations” pop up in Clark Park

April 30, 2020

West Philly Local readers came across two mysterious “installations” in the northern section of Clark Park (Clark Park “A”) near 43rd and Baltimore. The first one appeared in the last couple of days and is apparently growing with new items being added. It looks like someone was moving and decided to bring their unwanted stuff to the park, but it’s kinda organized to resemble a room or a part of a house. Check it out:

And this potty with plants appeared in the park today:

Friends of Clark Park, the organization overseeing the park, is not aware of these “installations”. If you have any ideas, leave a comment below.

Looks like free stuff to me. Hopefully folks will find a way to repurpose it and keep the park clean.

I saw a similar toilet thing on tv recently! They were using it to move illegal SIM cards.

Toilet planters (usually just the bowl) have a long history in Wisconsin and probably other parts of the Midwest.
