Raxx Vintage, a beloved Philadelphia-based vintage clothing retailer, has recently opened a pop-up shop in University City. The new pop-up, Raxx Vintage West, is located on the Penn campus, at 3425 Walnut Street, and filled with fun, unique, and sometimes quirky goods.
Raxx Vintage has built a loyal following through its carefully curated selection of vintage clothing, accessories, and collectibles from the 1960s through the 2000s. The new location features a signature mix of vintage denim, band t-shirts, varsity jackets, and other retro treasures that have made it a destination for fashion-forward shoppers and sustainable fashion enthusiasts.
“Opening a new store in the Shop Penn district marks an exciting new chapter for our brand,” owner Amanda Saslow said. “The vibrant campus environment and eclectic West Philly neighborhood makes this a perfect location. We look forward to introducing our curated vintage collections to area students and local residents, for their everyday wear or perhaps special themed costume party prep.”
The merchandise is hand-picked by managers and sourced from Bulk Vintage, a wholesale vintage warehouse. After a longtime residency on South Street, Raxx just recently moved that store to Passyunk Avenue while simultaneously opening the Raxx Vintage West shop. The store also features a section with some nostalgic collectibles, vintage décor and home goods provided by local supplier, Hoof and Antler.
Raxx Vintage West’s winter hours are: Tuesday-Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
