The 67th annual Spruce Hill Community Association May Fair is set to return to Clark Park (43rd and Chester) on Saturday, May 10.
As always, vendors, local artisans, community groups and organizations seeking to do outreach and promotion are invited to to be part of this popular community event. The application process is currently open for interested vendors and groups. Space is limited and priority will be given to local community organizations and artisans.
Vendor fees are set at $40 or less for the day, reflecting the Spruce Hill Community Association’s mission to “connect the neighborhood with local groups and artisans.” Please note that second-hand goods or commercial products are not permitted for sale – this is a day to showcase works that local artisans have produced themselves. Also, vendor applications from businesses/organizations that plan to sell prepared food or beverage items at tables will not be accepted due to Health Department regulations. However, food vendors with a free-standing and separately permitted truck or cart may still be able to participate. If you have a truck/cart, please contact Evan Johnstone (evanjay@gmail.com) to discuss your participation.
Vendors will be provided a 6-foot table, table covering and chair in a 10-foot space for the day.
The May Fair will take place from 12-6 p.m. rain or shine. However, in the event of significant rain, the event may be cancelled and vendors will receive a refund of 50 percent if they choose to do so.
