A porch collapses at 43rd and Pine

West Philly Local readers are reporting that a porch collapsed this afternoon at around 2 p.m. at 4314-4316 Pine St. The fire department was on the scene. Neighbors say that the property has been neglected for a number of years.

    Notice the House for Rent sign. If I were looking for a rental I would avoid that landlord. Hope the bike wasn’t damaged….

    If the people in the neighborhoods would start reporting neglected properties like this one, to L&I, we’d be much safer.
