A water main break was reported this morning, around 7:40 a.m., on Locust Street by the Parent Infant Center. As of 8:40 a.m., the street is closed to traffic between 42nd and 43rd. (Photo by Veronica Alvarez).

I walked by this scene on Locust this morning at about 7:45 a.m. I took a few photos on my iPhone. I heard a cop ask a man, “How did it happen?” The man answered, “I was filling the pool . . . .” Uh oh.
