Adopt a Cat: Cricket

September 2, 2015

Project MEOW, a West Philly-based feline rescue group, is stepping up their efforts of helping stray and feral cats and kittens in the area. But they need your help. Check out this creative poster distributed in the neighborhood.

To help Project MEOW, which is a volunteer-run organization, and their rescues, we’ll be publishing a series of posts with information on cats available for adoption. Today, we are presenting the first adoptable kitty named Cricket.

CricketCatCricket is a young female domestic short-haired cat.

She is a sweet, inquisitive, playful little calico girl whose favorite activities include napping belly-up on bedspreads, squirrel watching on windowsills, pretending toy mice are real, lounging in the (empty!) bathtub, getting scritches and pats all over, chatting to her foster mom, and having a question mark tail. As a companion, she’s the perfect mix of affectionate and chill and silly, and would thrive in a home where she can be your only cat as she keeps learning from you about being in a family!

Cricket is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, is current with shots, treated for fleas and worms, and is litter box trained. She would be happiest in a home without other pets.

This cat is being fostered through the partnership of Project MEOW and PAWS. To adopt Cricket, please complete and return a PAWS adoption application. It is available at the Baltimore Pet Shoppe (4532 Baltimore Ave.), or online at www.tinyurl.com/PMAdoptionApp. Please use the number A25056213 when applying to adopt this cat. Application and adoption fee ($50.00) applies.
