Pack a picnic and your flashlights for NATURE NIGHTS at The Woodlands this summer!
Each month you’ll have a chance to spend some after-dark time inside the gates learning more about this important urban ecosystem and the creatures who call it home. Treat yourself to local snacks from neighborhood vendors, and take part in fun activities and crafts for all ages.
Bat Night Thursday, July 28th from 6:00PM – 9:00PMRemember how great last year’s bat walk was? Well we’re bringing it back! Sarah Bouboulis will be here again to explain some of the mysteries surrounding bats and lead a bat walk to the Center Circle section of the cemetery. Bring a picnic, get creative with University City Arts League, and enjoy some sweet summer treats!
This event is FREE and open to the public. Parking is limited, so please consider walking, biking, or taking public transportation.
In the event of inclement weather, Bat Night will be cancelled and notice will be posted on our website and social media pages at least 2 hours prior to the event start time.
