Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two male suspects, who robbed and viciously assaulted a 26-year-old male Penn grad student. The robbery took place on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 10:45 p.m. when the young man was walking along the 400 block of South 43rd Street. The victim was beaten during the robbery and suffered serious head injuries, including a fractured skull, according to police.

Surveillance video captured the suspects later that night inside a convenience store: 

Police provided the following description of the suspects:

Suspect 1: Black male, late teens to early 20 years-of-age, approximately 6-feet tall, slim build, chin length braided hair. He was wearing a black Michael Kors jacket, red t-shirt, ripped blue jeans, white sneakers and a Ferragamo belt.

Suspect 2: Black male, late teens to early 20 years-of-age, 5-feet-6-inches tall, slim build, short cropped hair. He was wearing all black clothing with a distinct pattern on the front of his hooded sweatshirt.
