Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow, and The Philadelphia Police Department has released a reminder that a new season of “No Savesies” will begin.
“We’ve seen some strange things used over the years to save parking spots – and we’re hoping we see a lot less of them this year. Shovel and share – it’s not worth fighting over,” reads a tweet by PPD.

If you live on a block with renters and students then you know they do not shovel parking spots. They “plow” out of a spot and come back to take a nice clear shoveled spot. It’s just the way it is. Don’t move your car! Lol.

I advocate that if you see anyone blocking spots, even on some random block, remove the cones and throw them on the sidewalk. If its your neighbor, confront them. Blocking spots is BS and dont stand for it.
