Storytime at the Turtle returns

June 29, 2011

Clark ParkHere’s something our little neighbors and their parents will enjoy doing again now that the section “A” of Clark Park has reopened. A traditional “Storytime at the Turtle” has returned and is taking place every Thursday at 7 p.m.

Stories and short books are read by volunteers from the Parent Infant Center (PIC). Snacks and refreshments are also available. So head down with your little ones tomorrow night to the turtle for this fun and educational activity.

Are the signs asking people to please stay off the grass for a couple weeks only visible to people who love grass?

Great PIC can read stories to tots again, but do they have to disregard the simple request to stay off the grass too?

I also saw a full on Volleyball game set up while the signs were there asking people not to walk on the grass yet. Maybe the people playing volleyball thought that was different than “walking” on the grass.

    WTG Neighborhood.

It will be dirt again super fast.

    Good Job.

  2. Neighbor Says:

The grass signs ARE there and no one else has anything to say about it? This neighborhood must be filled with hypocrites. Everyone complains about a lot of things and the lack of action, but no one voices their thoughts when they see the good things in the neighborhood being abused.
