The Clark Park Farmers’ Market is still going strong after many years. Established in 1998, it is one of The Food Trust’s largest markets, offering fresh produce, baked goods, meats, flowers, and many specialty products. Just a reminder that the market operates year-round every Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 43rd and Baltimore.
Although there is no Clark Park Thursday Market this summer, The Food Trust has opened other seasonal farmers markets in the city.
Here’s a list of other farmers markets in West and Southwest Philadelphia and their schedules:

The Food Trust has also announced that a new farmers market is opening soon in West Philly. The market will be located at Belmont and Parkside Aves. in the CASE Building Parking Lot. The soft opening of the East Parkside Farmers Market is Thursday, July 15, 4-7 p.m. The new market is in collaboration with Centennial Parkside CDC, Fairmount Park Conservancy, Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, FarmPhilly and the Carousel House Farm. Will it be possible to forge an agreement with the company building at 43rd and Baltimore so that the Saturday Farmer’s Market can continue unimpeded? This is important.

I have the same concern as the previous commenter about the Clark Park market. Also, will the new Parkside market be regularly held on Thursdays 4-7? Or was that just the hours for the soft opening?
