Holiday Basket Drive underway in Cedar Park

December 13, 2021

The annual Holiday Basket Drive has returned to Cedar Park in its usual format after taking a break last year due to the pandemic. This is a great chance for neighbors to help other neighbors in need during the holidays.

The campaign is run by the neighborhood association Cedar Park Neighbors (CPN), who with the help of area churches and other nonprofit organizations will prepare and distribute food baskets for those in need on December 18. Volunteers are also welcome!

Currently, CPN is accepting donations from its members and everyone who would like to help. Suggested donation this year is $45, which will help feed two families.

Please go to this page to make a donation.

The baskets will be packed and distributed on Saturday, Dec. 18, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Renewal Presbyterian Church, located on the corner of 47th and Cedar Avenue. For more information or if you would like to volunteer, please contact the event organizer, Michelle Lewis (mlewis1071@gmail.com). Please also feel free to contact Michelle if you’re interested in donating bulk items.
