Black & white cat spotted at Clark Park Sunday

July 25, 2011

Cat spotted in Clark ParkA neighbor Tiffany spotted this black & white cat at Clark Park yesterday, July 24. She writes:

I spotted this cat at Clark Park at 8:00 p.m. Sunday. He/she followed me home, and I gave him/her some food. The cat is pretty jumpy to sounds outside, so I think it is not just a stray kitty. I can’t let him/her in for the night, but if this is your kitty, it has been spotted and was last spending time at 46th and Chester at 8:40 p.m. Sunday.

Very friendly but chased a dog down on the sidewalk.

ever figure anything out with this cat? He’s show up at my place (46/Regent) a few times. We brought him in last night from the storm, and aren’t sure what to do with him as he’s super nice.

    Hi,

He may or may not be a stray/homeless kitty. I would suggest getting him checked for a microchip ID at PAWS clinic this weekend… They have walk-in hours (no appt. necessary) on Sunday. I’d also like to pass his info around to the Regent block group. Please email me for more suggestions (lml3@verizon.net). thanks!

Our family has also seen this little cat/older kitten around 500 block of Melville-though not for the last day or so. We also fed him and he got along fine w/our older cat

Still hoping to hear back from Keenan about the kitty… Do I notice the tip of his left ear missing? If it is, this is an indication that kitty was a stray that was neutered and vaccinated (called TNR – trap-neuter-release). Some TNRd kitties are microchipped.
Have you taken him to PAWS to be scanned for a microchip yet? Please get back to my via direct email – lml3@verizon.net. thx.

    Hi Keanan,

What is happening with this kitty? Did you have him checked out? is he back on the street? A friend of mine on that block of Regent saw a tuxedo male the other day and I’m wondering if it is the same cat… You can email me at lml@verizon.net

    thanks,
    linda
