The Wellness Empowerment Project Summit, co-hosted by Penn Medicine and Wharton’s Office of DEI and Coalition for Equity and Opportunity, is designed to empower Philadelphia residents by providing essential health and financial resources.

This family-friendly event will feature free health screenings (including blood pressure), wellness demonstrations (with doctors from specialties like diabetes and stroke neurology), local vendors, movement classes, kid-friendly activities, free food, and resources on financial health and investment.

Brief remarks will be delivered by Wharton’s Chief DEI Officer Renita Miller, as well as other Penn and City officials, including Councilmember Jamie Gauthier.

Time/Date – Saturday, October 19 from 10 am–2 pm ET

Location – Saunders Park (39th and Powelton Streets, behind Penn Presbyterian Medical Center)
