Lost, 2 Family Pet Dogs

I’m looking for my 2 male dogs that got out from the back yard at 51st and Chancellor. Butter is the oldest. He’s a Lab/Pit mix with light brown hair, medium weight. Dallas is a younger Pomeranian mix, light blond hair, Small/medium weight. I miss my dogs. Please, if anyone has them or has seen them please let me know ASAP. A reward will be offered. This is from Linda Lee concerning cats spotted near the Windermere Court Apartments over the weekend, nearly a week since the fire there.

I actually just got a text from one of the Philly officers who saw a
cat this evening on the 48th st side of the building (in the area
behind Windermere Courts). He thinks it had a collar on and gave the
following description: a small multi color grey cat with short hair
and 2 back white legs and a small white tip on the tail. The cat kept
coming out of the basement of the building for food. He was going to
try to catch it, but hasn’t had any luck…

Here are photos of two cats that have been spotted. Leave a comment if you know anything about these two and we’ll pass along the info:

From Lina: “I’m trying to find my cat, Deuce, who was in the fire at 48th and Walnut this Monday, 1/10/11. The firemen found his brother, but there was no sign of Deuce. We are hoping he escaped the building and may be trying to fend for himself. He is a medium orange tabby. He is up to date with all his shots, but has no collar on, as he has never been outside before. He is neutered, likes to play with string, suckle on fleece like material, and recently had his nails clipped because they were getting long. If you see him, please call me at 518.428.9907. It would mean the world to his brother and me to have him back after this terrible fire. I have also attached a picture. ”

Here is a flyer posted at City Kitties about two cats missing from the Windermere Court Apartment complex following the fire. These cats were presumably on the lower floors and hopefully survived.  Keep an eye for these two.

We’re a little late on this but… the Chester Avenue Dog Park, the private dog park at 48th and Chester, is taking membership applications again. The park had been full and closed to new members for several months. Starting in November the park will open 10 spots every two months. The November/December and January/February spots have been filled. There are still slots for March/April, but Christina Bach from the dog park said those are filling up fast.
