Science Leadership Academy at Beeber

Science Leadership Academy at Beeber (SLA Beeber) is hosting a carnival-inspired open house event for prospective students and their families to learn about the school and its programs. The event features carnival games designed by current engineering students, the inauguration of their brand new art gallery, engineering and life sciences demonstrations in association with the school’s partners – TinyWPA, Drexel BioMed, UPenn MechanoBio, Fox Chase Farm, Workshop U, and more – face painting, competitive dance roller skating and more family fun!

SLA Beeber is an inquiry driven, project-based school, which is an expansion of the original Science Leadership Academy model.

Current eighth grade students in Philadelphia who are interested in applying to SLA Beeber for the 2024-2025 school year can apply through the School Selection Process, which is currently open and runs through October 27, 2023 at 11:59pm.
