Every first Sunday of the month, the Philadelphia Museum of Art offers Pay What You Wish admission.

March 6, 2016 events include:

– South Asian Family Festival:

Location: Perelman Building

Be inspired by royal drawings, contemporary photographs, and colorful weavings from all around South Asia. Make art with your family and enjoy captivating performances by The Courtyard Dancers.

10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Atrium Studio

11:00 a.m., noon, 1:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. Mini Tours

11:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. The Courtyard Dancers

– Lecture: Woven Art: Textiles in Traditional Zo Culture:

Location: Perelman Media Room

2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Museum admission not required to attend program

Collectors Barbara and David Fraser explore the use of textiles in the ceremonies – both historic and modern – of the Zo peoples.
