Stand-up comedian and actor BILLY GARDELL will bring an unforgettable evening of comedy and storytelling to the Live! Event Center at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Gardell is known for his starring role as Bob Wheeler in the CBS sitcom ‘Bob Hearts Abishola’ and Officer Mike Biggs in the long-running CBS hit ‘Mike & Molly’.

A Pennsylvania native, Gardell honed his craft as a standup comedian performing at small-town lounges, military bases and every comedy club in between. Gardell’s storytelling talents landed him in numerous acting roles, co-starring in ‘Lucky’ and appearing in many television shows including ‘Sun Records’, ‘Young Sheldon’, ‘Yes Dear’, ‘Judging Amy’, ‘My Name is Earl’, ‘The Practice’, ‘Monk’ and ‘Gary the Rat’.

Gardell earned a Daytime Emmy nomination for Best Game Show Host in 2016 for ‘Monopoly Millionaires Club.’ He has also been featured on the big screen, playing roles in ‘Avenging Angelo’, ‘Bad Santa’ and ‘You, Me & Dupree’.

A master storyteller, Gardell’s standup performances charm audiences through anecdotes from his challenging childhood, adventurous adolescence and the joys and trials of his new family life. His comedy specials, ‘Billy Gardell: Halftime’ and ‘Billy Gardell Presents Road Dogs,’ premiered on Comedy Central and Showtime.
