The University City Summer Series presented by University City District and World Cafe Live is bringing a FREE concert by indie pop singer Marielle Kraft to Drexel Square (3025 Market Street) at Schuylkill Yards on Thursday, Sept. 12.
Marielle Kraft writes songs that strike chords with listeners, and follows in the tradition of artists like Colbie Caillat, Maisie Peters, and Taylor Swift. Self-taught, Kraft brings a gift for storytelling through her use of salient detail, raw emotion, and poignant word choice to describe moments “exactly as they feel.” Marielle Kraft regularly plays at venues across the United States, sharing stages with names as big as Mt. Joy, Ava Max, and Betty Who.
